EASY-H 1210 and EASY-H 1420 high-pressure and high-temperature gas adsorption analyzers are high-performance adsorption and desorption isotherm testing instruments independently developed by CIQTEK, which adopts the static volumetric method.

A range of isothermal temperatures and pressures can be tested to meet the needs of many research fields. The product has the function of high-temperature and high-pressure adsorption testing, and a unique hydrogen absorption and desorption PCT and pressure isotherm platform, which can be widely used in rare earth alloy hydrogen storage industry, shale gas and coal bed methane adsorption research, oil exploration and gas separation and other fields; it is also important for understanding the adsorption characteristics of some adsorption materials such as catalysts, molecular sieves and activated carbon, fuel cell research, carbon nanotubes and graphene.

Features:
  • Built-in test computer, safe and stable. 10-inch capacitive touch screen, can be controlled by tablet.
  • The micro-welded stainless steel sample tube and the metal surface of the VCR are sealed and connected to ensure reliable sealing under high temperature and high pressure; high-precision test data can still be obtained with a small sample loading.
  • The safety protection door can prevent accidents caused by accidental contact with low-temperature liquid nitrogen and eliminate the influence of environmental factors on the test.
  • Heating units up to 550°C (1022°F) for ease of use; The higher temperature heating unit can be equipped with a rigid heating furnace with built-in ceramic fiber.
  • The built-in ball screw lifting system controlled by stepper motor eliminates the disadvantages of conventional screw types that are easy to jam, etc.
  • For EASY-H 1210: Two independent sample processing ports can be performed simultaneously with sample testing, improving the testing efficiency.

Test Principle:

Main Functions:
Measuring the adsorption and analytical capacity of coal, measuring the adsorption rate and resolution; Values ​​of gas adsorption constants a and b; Measuring adsorption/desorption isotherms at any temperature from room temperature to 550 °C (1022 °F), measuring supercritical Gibbs adsorption; measuring the adsorption and desorption rate of gas (i.e. adsorption-desorption kinetics); Adjustable adsorption and desorption capacity measurement function under constant pressure coal simulation.

Test Accuracy:
Repeatability error is less than ±3%.

Test Temperature:
Room temperature to 550°C (1022°F) (higher temperature can be set); -196°C (-320.8°F) to room temperature (optional for low temperature testing function module).

Temperature Control:
The temperature control range can reach any temperature from room temperature to 550℃ (1022°F) with a temperature control accuracy of 0.1℃ (32.18°F);
The software includes a PID temperature control function, which allows precise control of any multi-stage heating rate;
The temperature control process is set and executed automatically through the software interface, without the need for an external thermometer, which eliminates tedious manual operation and possible malfunctions of multi-stage temperature control and increases the automation of the instrument.

Test Pressure:
Continuous adsorption and desorption in the vacuum pressure range of ~200 Bar; The number of experimental equilibrium pressure points and the pressure value can be flexibly set by the software.

Data processing:
Langmuir model regression isotherm, measurement of the maximum Langmuir adsorption constant L and the adsorption pressure constant B (carbon adsorption a and b values); Load Correlation Regression (LCR) isotherm of the Langmuir correction model; three-parameter Langmuir regression isotherm.

Sample numbers:
For EASY-H 1210: two samples were tested in turn and two samples were degassed.
For EASY-H 1420: two modules were tested in parallel and each module was tested in turn with two samples; additional sample degassing station.

Sample tube:
10ml stainless steel micro weld sample tube, 75mm×120mm(D×H), large capacity sample tube can hold rock/coal column samples of 50mm×100mm(D×H);
Other volume sample tubes can be customized.

Test gas:
High purity nitrogen, CO2 or others (Ar, Kr, H2, CH4, etc. optional)

Pipeline structure:
Thick-walled 316L stainless steel pipeline, high-pressure micro-welded pipeline system, the main pipeline using micro-welding technology to seal the joint, effectively reducing the dead volume and improving the testing accuracy;
All-metal VCR joint, safe and reliable, easy to install or remove the pipeline joint.

Vacuum pump:
Two-stage vacuum pump, optional molecular pump.

Control system:
High-pressure pneumatic valve with VCR interface achieves automatic on/off control in the pressure range of 200 Bar, the tightness is up to 1x10-10 Pa.m3/s, the service life is up to 5 million times;

Programmable logic controller system with high integration and strong anti-interference ability improves the stability and service life of the instrument.

Protection measures:
Equipped with an external protective door, eliminating high-temperature injury to the experimental operator. More importantly, it effectively reduces the influence of external air flow changes on the test, greatly improving the test stability and accuracy of the instrument.

Safety Measures:
The original EASY-H progressive inflation and deflation technology realizes automatic gas inflation and deflation, safe and reliable, eliminating the danger of manual operation of high-pressure gas supply and reducing the damage caused by the impact of large pressure difference to the pressure sensor.
